Our Ministries

 

Associate Ministers
The mission of the Associate Ministers is to assist our Pastor and the vision God has given him by the preaching and teaching of the gospel, serving in ministries, and aiding the church. 

 

Board of Directors

The Trustee Ministry’s mission is to assist the Senior Pastor and Greater New Macedonia family through planning, conducting and evaluating a comprehensive financial program for the church and providing leadership.

 

Deacons Ministry
The Deacon's Ministry principle function is to glorify God by supporting the purpose and work of God in and through Greater New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. The general mission of a deacon is to carry out those ministry needs that free the Senior Pastor to giving more of his attention to praying, teaching, preaching, equipping and giving oversight to leadership and shepherding matters of the body.

 

Deaconess Ministry

The Deaconess Ministry’s mission is to be chosen vessels of God, by supporting the Pastor’s vision and assisting the Deacons in carrying out the responsibility of membership care.

 

Intercessors Ministry

The Intercessors ministry consists of men and women who intercede for the prayer needs and concerns of the Senior Pastor, Greater New Macedonia, and our communities.

 

Jackson Special Choir

The Jackson Special Choir aims to minister to all backgrounds and cultures represented in the congregation in traditional and contemporary ways.

 

Male Chorus

The mission of the Male Chorus is to praise the name of Jesus through music. The Male Chorus sets a strong example for men to follow and presents a musical style that recounts the heritage of the African-American Church.

 

Media Ministry

The purpose of the Media Ministry is to enhance worship services and church events with audio and video support with the spirit of excellence.

 

 Missions Ministry

The purpose of the Missions Ministry function is to promote the spreading of the gospel locally and abroad through Greater New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church’s financial and physical involvement in missions.

 

Mothers Ministry

The Mothers Ministry is a ministry of senior saints who are full of the Holy Ghost. The purpose of this ministry is to under-gird the Pastor, Deacons, leaders, and the ministry as a whole with prayer and visible support and wisdom.

 

New Member’s Orientation

The New Member’s Orientation staff facilitates the educational classes designed for new family members of Greater New Macedonia. These courses provide new members with the foundations of Christian living, insight on the history and vision of the church and an understanding of their spiritual gifts.

 

Pastor’s Aid Ministry

The Pastor’s Aid Ministry is committed to the support and care of our Senior Pastor. 

 

Sunday School​

The Sunday School Ministry's function is to provide an in-depth look into the Bible through relative and thought provoking curriculum. There’s a class for EVERY age.

 

Ushers' Ministry

The Ushers' Ministry's principle purpose of an usher is to represent the love of Christ to all that come to worship and cultivate a warm atmosphere conducive for worship before, during, and after the worship services at the church.

 

Youth Choir

The Youth Choir consists of youth singing about Jesus Christ, between the ages of 6-18. Their mission is to teach and train children to being committed, responsible, and consistent choir members and to understand the message of Jesus Christ through the singing of His Word. 

 

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry of Greater New Macedonia believes that all children are precious to the Lord. We believe that they are not just “Church Kids,” but they’re “Kingdom Kids.” Whatever age they are, we have a place for them. We are committed to seeing these children grow in their knowledge of the Word of God.
